Historically offering "all of the art for all of the people," The Eubie is broadening it's definition for art while capturing the imagination of children. The Eubie is proud to announce it's new page just for kids: STEAMB!

What is it? 

ART + BUSINESS + STEM= STEAMB

The Eubie will offer culturally enriching information, classes, and experiences that will bridge the knowledge gap between art, business, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  So Let's Play!

STEAMB CLASSES

"The Eubie" offers a distinct STEAMB class for each grade band. Pre-K-2 will spend their Saturdays designing machines, grades 3-5 will spend their Saturdays designing prototypes for their businesses, while 6-8 will spend the summer exploring the 3 Dimensions of Art.

Session 2: Millionaire Minds in the Making: The Business of Science, grades 3-5, May [DATES TENTATIVE DUE TO COVID-19 OUTBREAK]

Session 3 & 4: The 3 Dimensions of Art, grades 6-8, July [DATES TENTATIVE DUE TO COVID-19 OUTBREAK]

SESSION 1: SO LET'S PLAY

Research shows that kids learn through play. So let’s PLAY @TheEubie. Join us in launching our first STEM class in the LEGO Education series: TECH Machines with Storage for the primary learners grades pre-k through grade 2.
 
Spend 4 Saturdays with us as we accelerate learning through play, while building character, confidence, and curiosity.

Dates: April 4, 11, 18, 26
​Time: 10am -12pm
Cost: $100 or $25/wk
Capacity: 20 students

SESSION 2: MILLIONAIRE MINDS IN THE MAKING: THE BUSINESS OF SCIENCE

Join “The Eubie" in its first offering of a business design class for elementary age children (grades 3-5). Over the course of 4 weeks, students will develop a business plan for a prototype design that makes life better.

Dates: May 2, 9, 16, 23
Cost: $100

SESSION 3: THE 3 DIMENSIONS OF ART

Students in grades 6-8 will spend two weeks in the summer exploring the history of art, the science of art, and the production of art. Taught by local artists and professors, students will develop skills in peer review, curation, artistic design, and the process of reflective inspiration.

Dates: Session 3: July 6-17; Session 4: July 20-31
